Those involved with the establishment of the Kiama Matinee Theatre are very excited to reveal that their first production, the farce Murder Upstairs Downstairs at Upton Priory, raised over $5600 for the Kiama Lions Carers Cottage.
“Due to the success of the show, and public interest, we shall be putting on our next production in September,” says Rachel Piggott.
“We want to throw our doors open to anyone wanting to become involved in any way – acting, directing, costumes, props, front of house or backstage.
“No experience necessary, just a sense of fun and a willingness to get involved).”
Details: Anyone interested in finding out more is welcome to the group’s first ‘meet and greet and read a play’ on Thursday 17 May. Please contact Veronica on 0439 383487 or kiamamatineetheatre@gmail.com for more information.
