Wedding venues and suppliers from Kiama are banding together to put the region on the map as a premier wedding destination.
The inaugural event, dubbed Kiama I Do, is supported by Destination Kiama which recognises the huge economic boost brought by weddings.
Kiama is already a popular wedding destination, but there is room for growth.
The event is a collaboration between three wedding venues the Sebel Harbourside Kiama, Crooked River Winery and The Pavilion Kiama.
On the day, between themf the venues will host 43 mostly local wedding suppliers, covering all areas to create the perfect wedding day including stylists, lorists, photographers, celebrants, cakes, wedding dresses, hair and makeup artists, entertainment and even fireworks.
There will be a passport system with one lucky couple winning a $1000 credit towards their wedding at one of the participating venues.
Passports are limited so if you have a wedding coming up you should register as soon as possible.
Details: Sunday 29 April, 10-3pm at the three venues. For more information and to register for a passport go to http://www.kiamaido.com.au
