Residents of, and visitors to, Gerroa now have access to a Street Library.
An initiative of the Gerroa Community Association (GCA), it sits at the front of the Neighbourhood Centre at 37 Stafford Street.
“We want to say a big thank you to Gerringong Men’s Shed members, including Joe Morizzi who constructed the library box, Laurie Woollcott, and the expert installers Graham Hanna, Brian Arberry and Ken Harris,” says GCA Vice President Linda Brazier.
“Kiama Library were also very supportive, and the Friends of Kiama Library covered the cost of the materials.”
The rules of street libraries are simple: take a book and when finished you can return the book to the street library or pass it on to friends.
