While we can’t tell you who has bought the prime CBD block in Terralong Street, highlighted in our last issue, or how much they paid, we can tell you that it wasn’t Council or developer Nick Daoud.
“We are not at liberty to disclose the purchaser or the price at this moment,” says the vendor’s agent, Michelle Lay of Ray White Kiama.
“It is expected to be settled before Christmas, so the details will be publicly available then.
“I can say that it was sold for substantially more than Council offered, and they were unable to match it.”
Mr Daoud, who has a DA for the Akuna St/Mitre 10 site owned by Council, was rumoured to have been the purchaser, but Ms Lay confirmed that was not the case.
