The Gerringong artist had just been announced as the winner of the richest art prize in the world, the Doug Moran National Portrait Prize, for a portrait of her daughter titled: Scarlett as Colonial Girl. Apart from prestige, the prize comes with a $150,000 purse.
The Before I Die …. Project was enthusiastically received by the community, with many participating in the various workshops and events designed to encourage people to think about what really matters to them.
