Kiama has taken the Kiama Picnic Train to its heart since the Lachlan Valley Railway Society recommenced the steam train Sunday daytrips from Sydney.

There is now the opportunity for locals to enjoy a return trip to the new Shellharbour Junction station while the Sydney passengers are enjoying the delights of Kiama.

The money raised from the $10 tickets will support local charities.

Details: The train dates for the rest of the year are 8, 15 and 22 November; and 6, 13 and 20 December. The train will leave at 12.50pm. Tickets from the Kiama Visitors Centre.
