Continuing a long standing tradition, the Mayor’s Giving Tree is again collecting gifts for local children from 0-14 years.

Individuals and organisations are encouraged to place unwrapt gifts under the trees erected in the foyer of Council’s Administration Building or in Kiama Library.

They will then be sorted into age groups for distribution to families in need.

The Board of the Kiama & District Business Chamber went toy shopping at Kiama Toyworld recently so they could place $750 worth of toys under the Giving Tree.

“The Mayor’s Christmas Giving Tree is an important community initiative and one that the Chamber is always willing to support,” says Chamber President Marie Beikmanis.
