Whatever your interests, there will be at least one reason for you to visit Jamberoo on the last weekend in October.
No-one is quite sure how it happened, but various community organisations are holding events that weekend, making Jamberoo the place to be.
It probably started with the Illawarra Rose Society’s Spring Rose Festival, which has been held at Jamberoo for many years, with thousands of blooms on display.
Now the weekend also offers a car show to raise money for the Jamberoo Red Cross and RFS, a school fete (held every four years so it is going to be a big one),
a gigantic secondhand book sale and an art show.
