Teams are already registering and starting fundraising for this year’s Relay for Life.

It is hoped the revamped format, making it a twelve hour event down at the harbour, will attract new entrants wanting to help cancer patients and their carers.

“Minnamurra Mates, last year’s highest fund raising team, already have their fundraising well under way,” says organiser Steve Dalton. “We encourage you to get a team together with your friends soon, so you can hold a couple of events before the big day.

“We all know someone affected by cancer. This is a fun way for our community to help.”
