Two of the four NSW state winners of the Delicious Australia Produce Awards are foundation stallholders of the Kiama Farmers’ Market and come from the Kiama local government area – The Pines Kiama and Pecora Dairy.
While The Pines farm on Saddleback is known to most locals, Pecora Dairy is a specialist sheep milk dairy that produces artisan cheese and yoghurt. Cressida and Michael McNamara’s farm is located on the western edge of the Kiama LGA, near the Illawarra Fly. The National Award are announced on 12 September.
In addition, another foundation stallholder, Shoalhaven Mushrooms, has taken out four gold medals at the Royal Hobart Fine Food Awards.
