The Gerringong Men’s Shed is one step closer to moving into its new home, with Cleary Brothers generously donating 40 cubic metres of concrete to form the shed’s foundations.

The shed has been in the planning and preparation stage for the past 18 months, and the group has already benefitted from the donation of a 12m x 12m shed by road builders, Fulton Hogan.

“Cleary Bros have been instrumental and without their contribution this milestone would not have been achieved at this early stage,” says the Shed’s Ken Harris.

“Council have also been a great help with the site preparation and in many other ways.”

The members’ next challenge will be the assembly of the shed in Jubilee Park at the rear of Michael Cronin Oval. They expect for it to be operational by the end of the year.
