The Shoalhaven Winter Wine Festival attracts bigger and bigger crowds each year, as it becomes a major drawcard over the long weekend. Eight of the nine wineries involved are within an hour’s drive of Kiama – making it hard to choose which one or easier to visit all, depending on your outlook.
Food and music is a big part of the Festival, with Two Figs (shown above) bringing back roaming jazz band Hot Potato to entertain the crowd and Penny Hartgerink performing at Gerringong’s Roselea Vineyard on Sunday. For a program, see shoalhavencoastwine.com.au or the Visitors Centre.
