Jamberoo will be overrun with 780 soccer players and their supporters next weekend, as they gather together to celebrate the spirit of the game, personified in the late Johnny Warren.
“Teams keep coming back, as it is a very special event where you get to remember Johnny’s contribution to the game and catch up with your mates,” says organiser Jamie Warren.
“There is no prize money, no organised entertainment but great fun. Three teams from Sydney’s Brazilian community bring an extra carnival flavour to the gathering.”
It starts at 8.30pm on Friday 5 February, and the finals are at 5pm on Saturday. Go along and feel the love.
