Crop and Swap launched

Part of the swap table

The first Crop and Swap to be held at the Kiama Community Garden was a great success, with a happy crowd of about twenty people bringing in their surplus fruit, vegetables, eggs and seedlings and going home with some different ones.

The organisers relied on people’s sense of fairness to decide what they should take, and it worked well.

If you haven’t been to the Community Garden yet, then pop down on a Saturday to see the oasis that has been built between Blue Haven and the oval.
